The CDA(R&D),Bangalore is a prestigious office of Defence Accounts Department under Ministry of Defence(Finance) with the responsibility of Audit, Accounting and Payment functions of DRDO Labs/Establishments located at Bangalore, Kochi, Avadi & Mysore. The Office is responsibe for : -

1. Audit, Accounting and Payments relating to Pay and Allowances, TA/DA, Miscellaneous Claims and Store bills of DRDO Labs/Establishments under the audit jurisdiction of CDA (R&D) Bangalore.
    

2. Rendering financial advice to DRDO Labs/Establishments on general accounting system, procedures and purchase decisions through Tender Purchase Committee (TPC) meetings and other services.
    

3. Local Audit of store and cash accounts of all DRDO Labs/Establishments and the project accounts of various Programmes/Projects under our audit jurisdiction
